Heaton Park Tramway

Heaton Park Tramway (Manchester) is a volunteer-run tramway located in Heaton Park.

It offers rides on restored trams in a tranquil park setting, making it a popular attraction for history enthusiasts and families.

The Tramway opened in 1980 and is run by the Manchester Transport Museum Society.

They currently have three operating electric trams running on a stretch of track dating back to the original Manchester Tramway which used to operate into the park.

Over the years, the original line was been extended three times and is now approximately 1km in length.
