The event opened with an inspiring welcome speech by Sonya Byers, CEO of Women in Transport, setting the stage for a night of reflection and celebration.

Sonya acknowledged the critical role Women in Transport has played in advocating diversity, inclusion and opportunities for women across the sector, while also focusing on the challenges that still need to be addressed to achieve true equity.

The programme included a President’s Address by Jo Field, keynote speeches from senior industry leaders, and Lilian Greenwood MP, all highlighting the continued commitment to change and improvement across every corner of the transport industry.

The evening provided invaluable networking opportunities, enabling colleagues to share experiences and reaffirm the importance of collaborating to create a more inclusive future.

We're proud to support Women in Transport as a member, renewing our membership for a third year. We remain committed to promoting gender equity across the light rail industry.

“Reflecting on the value of our membership with Women in Transport, we’re delighted to renew our partnership for a third year, recognising the positive impact it brings to our industry and the wider sector.”
