Railway Assurance joins UKTram’s growing Member community

UKTram welcomes Railway Assurance as its newest member, bringing additional systems engineering and safety assurance expertise to our expanding community. Established in 2008, Railway Assurance is a specialist provider of systems engineering, safety assurance and interoperability services across the rail and light rail sectors.

The company supports clients at every stage of the project lifecycle, from initial development to authorisation and entry into service. Its expertise includes system safety engineering, CSM-RA, interoperability, risk management, safety case development and operational readiness.

Following significant growth over the past year, Railway Assurance views joining UKTram as a logical next step to strengthen its presence in light rail and build new sector relationships. Amber Oliphant, System Safety Engineer & Business Development Manager at Railway Assurance said:

As a UKTram member, the company aims to contribute its expertise in safety assurance, systems engineering, operational readiness and innovative project delivery and risk management.

Knowledge-sharing is a key motivation for joining, offering opportunities to learn about challenges facing light rail operators and project teams, and to share experience from across the rail sector.

The company is investing in digital solutions, including ARMOR (Assurance & Risk Management for Operational Railways), its cloud-based platform designed to simplify hazard management, enhance collaboration and increase visibility of project risks throughout the lifecycle.
