UKTram Managing Director James Hammett confirmed as a speaker at this year's Public Transport Asset Management UK Conference

UKTram Managing Director James Hammett has been confirmed as a speaker at this year's Public Transport Asset Management UK Conference, taking place on 23rd June at the Park Plaza London Riverbank.

Organised by Global Mass Transit, the conference will explore how transport authorities, operators and infrastructure owners are adapting to a rapidly changing asset management landscape, shaped by digital technology, changing passenger expectations and the need for more integrated transport networks.

James will take part in a dedicated session titled Scaling Digital Asset Management Across Multi-Modal Networks, where he will discuss how lessons from the light rail and tramway sector can help create more connected, efficient and resilient public transport systems.

The session will examine how asset management is evolving as networks become increasingly interconnected, with operators seeking to apply consistent standards and approaches across multiple modes of transport. Topics will include digital transformation, system-wide optimisation, interoperability and the role of collaboration in improving long-term network performance.

The discussion will also explore how organisations can move beyond mode-specific approaches towards integrated mobility systems, enabling transport authorities and operators to make better use of data, improve coordination and support more effective long-term investment decisions.
