UKTram is pleased to welcome Buckland Rail as the newest member of the UKTram community. Buckland Rail is a fully integrated rail engineering group, bringing together expertise across passenger, freight and light rail to deliver engineering solutions throughout the asset lifecycle. The organisation connects capability to deliver reliability and long-term value across the UK rail industry from build and overhaul through to maintenance and whole-life support.
Buckland Rail is made up of Yellow Rail (Bogie Overhaul and rail engineering), WH Davis (Wagon design and manufacturing), and Davis Wagon Services (Wagon maintenance and repair).
The decision to join UKTram reflects Buckland Rail’s recognition of the growing importance of light rail and tram within the UK’s evolving transport landscape. As an integrated engineering group working across multiple rail markets, membership marks a natural step in strengthening its contribution to the wider transport community and demonstrating its commitment to supporting the sector through collaboration.
