UKTram is pleased to announce the digital publication of Tram Talks, its members’ magazine, providing a dedicated space for insight and shared learning across the light rail sector.

Developed as an added benefit for members, Tram Talks brings together sector updates, functional group activity, partner perspectives and member contributions in one place. The magazine supports knowledge sharing and strengthens connections across the industry.

The publication also forms part of UKTram’s wider move towards an enhanced digital member experience. This includes the introduction of the UKTram Members Hub, which offers access to member news, a growing Request for Information (RFI) library and shared resources to support collaboration and best practice.

The April 2026 edition includes a Chair’s update from Steve Edwards, alongside reflections from Managing Director James Hammett on the direction of the sector. It also features contributions from across the membership, including insight into the 20th anniversary UK Light Rail Conference, developments in data-led operations and perspectives on areas such as safety and future system design.

Members who have not yet received their copy of Tram Talks can access it via the UKTram Members Hub.

Alternatively, they can request a copy by contacting chelsea.branch@uktram.co.uk

Members have been notified directly, and the latest edition is now available to view online.
